Cardinal George Conducts During the Ravinia Festival: Cardinal George gladly accepted an invitation to conduct the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and its 110-piece orchestra during the Ravinia Festival. The choir sang a special version of “This Land is Your Land” that included prominent Chicago landmarks such as the Tribune and Sears towers, Wrigley Field and Lake Michigan. The Cardinal was invited to the choir's performance by a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and the Latter Day Saints, with whom he serves on the Council of Religious Leaders of Metropolitan Chicago.
