Fees

Legal fees and expenses are generally covered by the assessment parishes pay to the Pastoral Center. Certain expenses related to legal services may be billed to parishes if the matter generates income or is project related.

Agencies are not assessed. Therefore, the Office of Legal Services will charge agencies for legal fees and expenses associated with matters that generate income, i.e., real estate sales and trust and estate proceeds. Agencies will also be responsible for zoning expenses as they are an expense of the project.
