Forty Parishes in Archdiocese Hosting Series for Young Adults
26 th Season for Theology on Tap

Theology on Tap is still going strong in 40 parishes throughout the city and suburbs. Exciting speakers are presenting challenging information and leading thoughtful discussions about key young adult issues as part of the annual Theology-on-Tap program, sponsored by the Young Adult Ministry Office of the Archdiocese of Chicago.

Thousands of Catholics in their 20s and 30s from throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago, the Diocese of Joliet and the Diocese of Rockford are gathering for a talk on faith, relationship or work issues, and are spending time sharing information with one another. The sessions run from 7:30 - 9:30, p.m. on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings, and provide participants an opportunity to meet people with similar values, and become updated on what it means to be an adult Catholic.

Some of the topics being covered include: What Does It Take to Be a Leader?, Understanding Your Neighbors: The Grand Essentials of the Five Major World Religions, The Art of Intimacy: A Good Conversation Is Long Overdue, Recognizing God in Everyday Events: Is There More than Meets the Eye?, How to Have a Healthy, Holy Love Life.

The series concludes on Sunday, August 6, when all who participated in the program are invited to gather at Holy Name Cathedral for Mass with Cardinal George, followed by a party on the lawn of his residence. One thousand Catholics in their 20s and 30s are expected to attend the Theology-on-Tap finale celebration.

For complete details on the 40 area locations and topics presented, phone or email the Young Adult Ministry Office at 312-466-9473, yam@hamchicago.org, or visit their web site at www.yamchicago.org
