For leaders of the Church, especially our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, and our bishop Francis, that they may pattern themselves after the example of Christ, the Good Shepherd, we pray to the Lord.

For leaders of nations, that they may seek to promote an equal distribution of the earth’s resources, peaceful resolution to conflicts, and the common good of all, we pray to the Lord.

On this World Day of Prayer for Vocations, that our parish will be a community that helps each other recognize and respond to the call of God in our lives, in particular through the Called By Name program, we pray to the Lord.

For priests and religious who serve the Church as witnesses to the Kingdom of God, that they may experience the peace and joy of that Kingdom, we pray to the Lord.

For our beloved departed, that they may see God face to face and rest in His peace, we pray to the Lord.

For all people, that they may come to know the Father through Jesus, who is the “way, the truth, and the life,” we pray to the Lord.

That the Called by Name program, which concludes today, will be a lasting source of blessing to our parish and archdiocese, we pray to the Lord.

For families, that they may be bold witnesses to the love of God in the world, we pray to the Lord.

For those who have died, that they may be welcomed into the place prepared for them by the Father, we pray to the Lord.
