EVOLVING ROLE OF DEACONS
FEATURED ON THE CHURCH, THE CARDINAL AND YOU

Cardinal Francis George discusses changes in the way deacons are trained on the latest edition of the cable TV program, The Church, the Cardinal and You.  Host Graziano Marcheschi talks with the Cardinal about the evolution of the deaconate program.  The TV show also highlights this year's Noche de Gala and pays tribute to the dedicated individuals who serve Hispanic ministry in the Archdiocese.  And the program takes you to Incarnation Parish in southwest suburban Palos Heights where hockey fans showed up in force to get their pictures taken with the Stanley Cup.
Comcast customers who live in Chicago and throughout the suburbs can see The Church, the Cardinal and You, Sunday at 1 p.m. on CN-100, the Comcast Network (Channel 100). The program also airs Friday at 7 p.m. on Chicago Loop Cable Channel 25. This program is produced by the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Office of Radio and Television.
